The purpose of this meeting is to convene newborn screening personnel from all state newborn screening programs and pertinent partners and stakeholders to share solutions for short- and long- term follow-up newborn screening.
- Provide input, guidance and technical assistance on follow-up in Newborn Screening
- Identify needs and offer technical assistance related to molecular literacy in short term follow-up
- Provide an arena in which follow-up staff can network and collaborate on quality improvement efforts
Intended Audience and Travel Support:
NewSTEPs will support travel to the meeting for one representative from each state, although additional attendees are welcome to attend at their own expense as room allows, once approved by NewSTEPs staff.

Attendees should plan to arrive in Seattle on the evening of Monday, May 11 and depart no earlier than 2:00 pm PT on Wednesday, May 13.
