Meeting Purpose:
The purpose of this meeting was to convene newborn screening personnel from all state newborn screening programs and pertinent partners and stakeholders to share solutions for short- and long- term follow-up newborn screening.
Meeting Objectives:
- Provide input, guidance and technical assistance on follow-up in Newborn Screening
- Identify needs and offer technical assistance related to molecular literacy in short term follow-up
- Provide an arena in which follow-up staff can network and collaborate on quality improvement efforts
